There’s a kind of change that doesn’t announce itself.
It doesn’t come with a clear moment or a dramatic decision. It happens quietly — in the ordinary rhythm of days, in the voices we listen to, in the patterns we settle into without thinking too much about them.
And over time, it begins to shape us.
Psalm 1 opens the entire book of Psalms with that kind of picture.
Not a crisis. Not a prayer. Just a person walking through life, slowly becoming someone.
Two paths.
Two directions.
Two kinds of lives.
And the part that’s easy to miss is this: no one stands still.
We are all being formed.
We are all moving in a direction.
We are all, whether we realize it or not, already on a path.
